Funerals
You want to give your loved one the best possible send-off, as well as helping you to find consolation. You may want a religious funeral, or you may want some or no religious content. Or you simply may not know -- there's a huge amount for you to process just now. I will discuss ideas and options with you in a sensitive and compassionate way. I will help you select the different aspects of the service; you may want to include unique elements that speak of your loved one's passions or career. I will draft a fitting eulogy for you, or me, or someone else to read on the day. I will give you a fine printed copy of this afterwards. If you are using a Funeral Director (and I strongly suggest that you do) I will liaise with them to ensure that everything goes smoothly and to time on the day.
My services can include:
  • Planning the service with you
  • Designing a printed order of service
  • Drafting (and re-drafting) a spoken eulogy
  • Suggesting music and arranging for it to be played
  • Discussing hymns and prayers, if you want these
  • Offering different readings or poems for you to consider
  • I can be on hand to help with a reception after the service if that makes it easier for you.
I am a professionally trained Civil Celebrant. I qualified with the NOCN Level 3 Diploma, the highest possible qualification in funeral celebrancy in the UK.
